I didn't join AFS test last year... My teacher told it all of a sudden, 2 weeks before the first test maybe...
I thought that I was not ready yet, and yea, i didn't join then~

don't worry. AFS is not the only chance to be able to go abroad. there are still lots of ways to go to other countries.

if i'm not wrong, sadly AFS is opened for 10th graders only. even if your age is still qualified, you can't participate if you're already in 11th grade.

It's not fair
It means that Yuuki can't joint AFS unless she manipulate her birth certificate

@yuuto: two years ago.... then, they are having the 'journey' now, right? My senpai is in USA too, he's selected for YES :D Actually there are two of them, but one came back not too long ago, since her illness became worse .__.

And I wanted to select Japan as my primary, but got rejected by my parents directly ==" Europe's the only choice....

only one person from Bandung batch who got Jenesys year program and she has already come back to Indonesia on feb 2011 (a month before tsunami and earthquake attacked Japan).

and there were 2 of my schoolmates who got Jenesys short program. one was in 2009 and another one was in 2010.

also the other 2 of my schoolmates (one of them was even my classmate) got YES. and they are supposed to come back to Indonesia this april.

Whoa, that one from Bandung sure is lucky! >.< Can't imagine if he/she got caught in the tsunami.....

Yes, Malay is kinda weird if you first hear it. Plus they speak it like in Singlish dialect, making it quite hard to understand. Fortunately enough, I'm quite good in picking up dialects, although sometimes it's still hard to understand African's..

Wow.. There was such a program? They never told us that in my high school... What countries could you go to? And do we need to learn any specific language?

Maybe because of the earthquake that they declined? And Ann, Europe is really nice. It's one place that I want to go aside from Japan (not with the current condition though). Which country do you choose?

Singlish dialect? what's that? it's the first time i hear the said dialect. and wow... you're great! on the contrary even i'm still having a hard time in listening to american english language. let alone british or any other dialects. my ears are not adapted to any dialects aside from those indonesia has.

if you live in Tokyo (or other prefectures in the western and southern of Japan, or at least quite far from Sendai prefecture), nuclear radiation won't reach you.

that's what my sensei, who is now taking his master program in Tokyo, said to me and I believe it. Tokyo is safe.

Singlish is Singapore English. They always use like "lah" at the end of the sentence and the dialect is really weird

American and British English is ok, they pronounce words quite clearly(especially American). But Australian... Oh my god...

Holland is cold in temperature. A friend of mine said 20 degrees is nice and sunny.... Germany and Italy seems nice too. Fooooooodssss~~~
