It depend you know... In SMAK 1, my friend learn trigono eventhough he's on the commerce class... But that's not the case for SMAK 2 though

Here, I give you 1 example from my homework~~
f(x) = x - 3 ---> Domain : & Range :
Note: The question is to find the Range, and I'm pretty sure that the range is

Okay, now I give 2 question, help me to answer it
f(x) = x² ---> Domain : {1}U{-1}U{2} & Range :
f(x) = 1 - x² ---> Domain : & Range :

There's 10 question about this and I only answer 2 questions and what's worse is I'm not sure if my answer is right or not

= set of all real number
= set of integers

You didn't learn this symbol in high school
The question is to find the Range of the equation....

now i'm the one whos confused, why f(x) = x - 3 with domain R produces range Z ?
i mean, if you take f(0.3) = -2.7 --> the product is real number

That's make sense... Since Z can't be a fraction or decimal...
So what's the answer for that? R too? So Domain and Range are R?
