Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, Minato (or whoever the protagonist of P3) goes to mall often. My brother said it's to increase his stats and to make girls more interested.

well actually we name the protagonist at the beginning of the game
minato -> the protagonist's name in the manga
I named my protagonist Caramel Panda *"iseng" mode:ON*

go to the mall -> increase charm by drinking pheromone coffee xDDDD
or play @ the arcade to increase stats/persona stats XD
or go to karaoke to increase courage xD

Yeah, that's common thing for RPG. We can name the protagonist even though the game itself has set an original name.

Increasing stats in P4 is even easier, even though it has more stat than P3(P4 got like 4 or 5 while P3's only 3). In P4, if you choose the correct answer in main story dialogue, it can raise your stat and relationship with your friend. Example: when P4's protagonist was asked to introduce himself in front of the class, there's a list of options you can choose: *not sure of the choices, but it's more or less like this*
1. Pleased to meet you
2. Hello (or something, can't remember)
3. Who's the most badass student around here? (raises courage)

During the outbond*lol* , when asked who's the cutest girl in swimsuit
1. Yukiko's beautiful (gets closer with Yukiko)
2. Chie's cute (gets closer with Chie)
